Special Educational Needs
First
For Education has an established Special Educational Needs team to work with
schools in this sector. In line with our stated aim of being the best in any
given sector, we have recruited an SEN head teacher to lead the team. This
allows us to concentrate fully on providing the best experience to our staff. As
you will know, there are a range of complex challenges which exist in this
specific area of education. It takes expertise, knowledge and dedication to find
the right candidate with the correct mix of skills and experience for such a
dynamic and diverse sector.
Our specialist SEN team supply special needs teachers, teaching assistants and
cover supervisors to primary, secondary and special schools. We understand that
well trained, flexible, adaptable and skilled staff are crucial to the smooth
running of any well managed centre of learning. We are confident of our ability
to provide your school and your learners with the highest quality staff members,
whether the need be for day to day, short-term, long-term or permanent work. We
are also aware that in the current economic climate school budgets are tighter
than ever, thus you will be pleased to know that our rates are extremely
competitive.
Our pool of staff has detailed knowledge and experience of the following
sectors:
- MLD
- HI
- MSI
- SLD
- VI
- PMLD
- SpLD
- EBD
- ASD
- PRU
- ADHD
Before being entrusted with the care of this specialist group of learners,
all of our staff will have to complete the unique First for Education SEN
training and development programme. This programme fully prepares our staff to
work with the wide range of need that the sector presents. This allows us to
benchmark our staff against measurable criteria ensuring you are never
disappointed with the quality of the staff you receive from us. In addition to
the initial training, we provide ongoing support to our staff through a
structured CPD course tailored to their specific needs. What we offer in terms
of our staff development is far in excess of our
Quality Mark Commitments. Our staff also have access to a comprehensive,
relevant bank of resource materials that enables them to work proactively with
your learners to ensure that, even with short notice, learning is continually
promoted.
I
am sure you will recognise that our approach to staff development and training
is unique amongst our peers, as is the personal touch that being a West Midlands
based, privately owned company engenders – Our staff don’t have to quote any
numbers before they can speak to their consultant!!! The level of service we
offer our clients is reflected in the glowing testimonials we regularly receive,
a fraction of which are publicised on our website.
We are constantly looking to supplement our team with motivated, committed,
skilled people. Previous SEN experience is not crucial, as bespoke training will
be provided. If you are a teaching professional looking for the next step in
your personal development and would like to discuss your employment options,
