First for Education are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Solihull from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school is well-resourced, supportive and committed to fostering creativity and high achievement within the Art department.
Teaching Art to students across KS3–KS4
Planning, delivering and assessing creative and practical lessons
Encouraging artistic expression through a range of media and techniques
Preparing and maintaining resources, materials and displays
Tracking pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Contributing to the wider department and school community
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
A creative approach to teaching and lesson planning
Strong behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
