First for Education are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Solihull from January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school is well-resourced, supportive and committed to fostering creativity and high achievement within the Art department.

The Role

• Teaching Art to students across KS3–KS4

• Planning, delivering and assessing creative and practical lessons

• Encouraging artistic expression through a range of media and techniques

• Preparing and maintaining resources, materials and displays

• Tracking pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Contributing to the wider department and school community

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design

• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

• A creative approach to teaching and lesson planning

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
