First for Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Kidderminster who are seeking a committed and inspiring English specialist to join their team for a full-time role from November 2025 until February 2026 although this may be extended.

Clear behaviour policies and a strong pastoral structure
Teach English Language and Literature to students in KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, challenging, and well-structured lessons
Monitor and assess student progress and provide timely feedback
Contribute to departmental planning, CPD, and enrichment activities
Work closely with the SLT, SEND and pastoral teams to ensure pupil success
Maintain a positive and focused learning environment in line with the school’s values
UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for English
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
A team player who is keen to contribute to whole-school initiatives
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
