English Teacher

First For Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in the Kinver area. This is a full-time position (5 days per week) and offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons that develop reading, writing, and communication skills

• Teach across KS3 and KS4 following the school’s curriculum

• Plan, mark and assess student work in line with department policies

• Foster a positive classroom environment that motivates students

• Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school life

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Literature and/or Language

• A creative approach to teaching that inspires and challenges learners

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Reliable, committed, and eager to help students succeed
