Are you a passionate and engaging Health & Social Care Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? First for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton to appoint a committed teacher to deliver high-quality Health & Social Care lessons.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT with strong subject knowledge and a desire to inspire the next generation of care professionals.
Teaching Health & Social Care across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
Planning and delivering lessons that engage, inform, and inspire
Supporting pupils in both academic and vocational aspects of the subject
Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the department to enhance curriculum delivery
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary or post-16 level
Strong understanding of the current curriculum and BTEC/NVQ frameworks
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
