Health & Social Care Teacher 

Are you a passionate and engaging Health & Social Care Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? First for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton to appoint a committed teacher to deliver high-quality Health & Social Care lessons.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT with strong subject knowledge and a desire to inspire the next generation of care professionals.

The Role:

  • Teaching Health & Social Care across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5

  • Planning and delivering lessons that engage, inform, and inspire

  • Supporting pupils in both academic and vocational aspects of the subject

  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with the department to enhance curriculum delivery

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary or post-16 level

  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and BTEC/NVQ frameworks

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
