Support Learning and Growth as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Birmingham

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students in a secondary school environment?

First for Education are working closely with a range of excellent secondary schools across Birmingham, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield to recruit skilled and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistants.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, confident in the classroom, and ready to make a positive impact on students’ learning and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across various subjects and key stages

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to help raise attainment

• Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom activities, and resource preparation

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

• Support students with additional learning needs (SEND experience desirable)

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
