First for Education are recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Male PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Birmingham from January 2026.
This role is ideal for a qualified PE specialist who can deliver engaging and structured Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting participation, teamwork and positive behaviour. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential for this position.
Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach a broad PE curriculum including practical and theory elements
Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and positive behaviour
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Manage behaviour effectively during practical and classroom-based lessons
Contribute to extracurricular sports and wider school activities where required
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Specialism in Physical Education
Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
Strong behaviour management and leadership skills
A positive, energetic and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
