Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher ready to make an impact in a thriving secondary school?
First for Education are working with a well-established secondary school in Small Heath to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping them develop curiosity, confidence, and a love for science.
As a Science Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Adapt your teaching to suit mixed abilities and learning styles
Prepare students for GCSE examinations and track their progress
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science Department
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
