SEN Teaching Assistant Brierley Hill

We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified and appropriately experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Brierley Hill to join an inspiring and successful special school for January 2020 until the end of the academic year.

About the school:

The school teaches pupils who have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties. These include pupils with complex medical conditions, mobility difficulties and autism.  Pupils range in age from 4 to 19 years old.

The school gained specialist status in the SEN strand of Communication and Interaction and have developed their expertise in this area. In addition, the school has highly trained staff and enhanced resources. Their facilities include soft play, physiotherapy, multi- sensory and music rooms. This is an ideal setting for a dedicated individual to support pupils to develop and thrive.

You will need:

  • Relevant Level 3 or above qualification
  • Good working knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
  • A passion for supporting pupils to achieve their potential both personally and academically
  • Provide 2 references
  • Clear DBS
  • Experience of teaching phonics is desired
