SEN Teaching Assistants Worcester

First for education are currently seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for several positions near Worcester, Worcestershire.

We are searching for people that have a CACHE Level 3 or equivalent (level 2 may be considered) to help our schools in mainstream and special education. This is done by supporting their pupils and helping them achieve their goals.

Some of the pupils with have a variety of needs but experience working with the following is needed: ASD (autism spectrum disorder), ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), VI (visual impairment), MLD (moderate learning difficulty), SEN, PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties), SLD (severe learning difficulties), MSI (multi-sensory impairment), HI (hearing impairment) etc.

  • Eagerness to grow and develop as a teacher
  • A passion for education, with strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Strong excellent organisation and communication skills
