We are currently looking to recruit SEND Support Staff Required. We are looking to recruit a selection of candidates to pre-empt the return of schools in September.
This allows us ample time to complete our compliance and safeguarding process and to have the best candidates available and ready to work. Therefore, putting you in the best position to secure the right role.
We are looking for those who:
- Previous experience and knowledge of working with children with; Complex Needs, MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition)
- Relevant Level 3 or above qualification
- Provide 2 references
- Clear DBS
- Experience of teaching phonics is desired
About the school:
The school teaches pupils who have¬†severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties. Similarly, these include pupils with complex medical conditions, mobility difficulties and autism.¬† Pupils range in age from 4 to 19 years old.
The school gained specialist status in the SEN strand of Communication and Interaction and have developed their expertise in this area. In addition, the school has highly trained staff and enhanced resources. Their facilities include soft play, physiotherapy, multi- sensory and music rooms. This is an ideal setting for a dedicated individual to support pupils to develop and thrive.
How we are operating;
With the current situation regarding COVID-19 our staff and candidate safety is of upmost importance.
We therefore feel we have put in to practice appropriate measures to allow us to continue with our day to day running.

In addition, you are required to bring original documentation to our office. Be reassured that we have strict containment policies in place so you will not ever be in the same air space as our staff (you will be restricted to our outer lobby area with a glass door between you and our staff), your documents will be handled whilst wearing disposable gloves which will be disposed of after each applicant.
If, on arrival at our office there is another person in the lobby area, please conform to social distancing rules and stand on the pavement allowing the 2 metre gap.
