Special Needs Teacher -Wolverhampton

First for Education is supporting a SEMH school in Wolverhampton.

My SEMH school in Wolverhampton is looking for  Qualified Special Needs Teacher -Wolverhampton for a SEMH school for day to day emergency cover & long term roles.

These roles are part time or full time and flexible to work around your own timetable.

The SEMH school supports pupils from ages 4 to 16 years  and the roles offer immediate starts.

To provide support and targeted interventions to students who have identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities are :-

  • To deliver targeted interventions; one to one or in small groups to students with SEMH and differentiate and resource lessons that ensure that effective learning takes place for all pupils
  • To Teach and mentor pupils with behavioural, social and emotional needs (SEMH)
  • To ensure that all pupils make progress during the lesson
  • To support and contribute to the schools responsibility for safeguarding pupils

To be considered for these roles you MUST :-

  • Have experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.
  • Be Team Teach or Price Trained

How we are operating:

With the current situation regarding COVID-19 our staff and candidate safety is of upmost importance.

We feel we have put in to practice appropriate measures to allow us to continue with our day to day running. We will firstly contact you via phone for an initial consultation.

You will be required to bring original documentation to our office. Be reassured that we have strict containment policies in place so you will not ever be in the same air space as our staff (you will be restricted to our outer lobby area with a glass door between you and our staff), your documents will be handled whilst wearing disposable gloves which will be disposed of after each applicant.

If, on arrival at our office there is another person in the lobby area, please conform to social distancing rules and stand on the pavement allowing the 2 metre gap.

First for Education Ltd. Is an employment business. We pay up to £800/week, but it is impossible to give an exact rate as we have to take into account experience, qualifications and responsibilities.
