Teacher of English and Drama – Sandwell

First for education are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English and Drama – Sandwell.

Start: January 2018
Post: Temporary (long term)
Salary: Competitive

We are working with a client school who requires a skilled Teacher to join their English and Performing Arts department. You must be qualified to teach English and Drama to Key Stages 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will be a creative educator, able to influence and engage pupils in both subjects. In addition you must be passionate on pupils academic progress and help achieve this.
You will join a strong team ethos, which enables students to gain the currency to progress post 16.
You must be able to work collaboratively, sharing ideas and support  to achieve great things as we further develop innovative teaching and learning strategies.

To qualify for this position you must:
• Hold British QTS
• Have subject specialism
• Be passionate about education and have a creative approach to your work
• Excellent time management
• Demonstrate strong classroom management
• Have experience of working with mixed abilities
• Provide 2 references
