Teacher of Music Sandwell

First for Education are currently seeking a Teacher of Music Sandwell for a long term position starting after October half term 2022.

This position is the perfect opportunity for either an experienced or newly qualified teacher to obtain a long term position spanning across 2.5 terms. You will be solely responsible for teaching, planning and marking Music lessons from Y7 to Y11. There may also be the additional responsibility of being a form tutor too.

The school are one of the most sort after schools in the local area. Boasting large new facilities, latest technology and all the resources you need to thrive in this role.

How we are operating;

You will be required to bring original documentation to our office. Be reassured that we have strict containment policies in place so you will not ever be in the same air space as our staff (you will be restricted to our outer lobby area with a glass door between you and our staff), your documents will be handled whilst wearing disposable gloves which will be disposed of after each applicant.

For this role you must have:

  • QTS Status
  • Music teaching experience is essential
  • Excellent people¬†management skills
  • Eagerness to grow and develop as a teacher
  • A passion for Music, with strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Strong excellent organisation and communication skills
