We are looking to fill Teaching Assistant jobs in Birmingham throughout the year. We work with many desirable schools and strive to provide a stimulating and supportive environment for staff. We are looking for teaching assistants on a temporary basis that fit in with their values and ethos. If this role is interesting please read below and contact us in the first instance. You will be undertaking all the duties usually expected of a TA in the South Birmingham area. Work will centre around the usual population centres of Northfield, Bournville, Hall Green, Moseley, Harborne and Edgbaston. How we are operating;

With the current situation regarding COVID-19 our staff and candidate safety is of upmost importance.

We feel we have put in to practice appropriate measures to allow us to continue with our day to day running.

You be required to bring original documentation to our office. Be reassured that we have strict containment policies in place so you will not ever be in the same air space as our staff (you will be restricted to our outer lobby area with a glass door between you and our staff) your documents will be handled whilst wearing disposable gloves which will be disposed of after each applicant.

If, on arrival at our office there is another person in the lobby area, please conform to social distancing rules and stand on the pavement allowing the 2 metre gap.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 

To qualify for this vacancy, you must:

  • Hold a level 3 qualification – NVQ, BTEC or CACHE
  • Excellent Maths and English skills
  • An enthusiasm for the learning and development of children
  • Good behaviour management
  • Provide 2 references
  • Have a clear Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of supporting individual groups is desired
