Job title: Secondary Teacher MFL
First for Education is seeking a flexible and confident Secondary Supply Teacher to provide Modern Foreign Language cover specialising in French or Spanish in a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Supply Teacher looking for a consistent role in Birmingham.

Secondary Supply Teacher role requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
– Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
– Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists
The successful Secondary Supply Teacher will:
– Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
– Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
– Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
– Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
– Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
– Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
