First For Education are currently recruiting for a motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Stourbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop confidence and achievement in Mathematics.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to work in a supportive and welcoming school environment.

You must hold a QTS status to be considered for this position

The Role

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of all learners

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Maintain strong classroom management in line with school policies

• Support students in developing their problem-solving and analytical skills

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting (placements considered for ECTs)

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people to succeed
