First For Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Netherton area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality science education.

This role is for 3 days as week to start ASAP.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists.

You must hold a QTS status to be considered for this position

The Role

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Monitor and track student progress effectively

• Contribute positively to departmental development

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science

• A commitment to raising attainment and student progress

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
