Job description :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCo to work across two schools within a trust. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating SEND provision, ensuring that all pupils with special educational needs and disabilities receive the support they need to thrive.

What we’re after :

  • Recognised SENCo qualification
  • Strong knowledge of SEND policies and frameworks
  • Experience working in a school basis environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • References to cover the last 2 years (minimum of 2)

The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

Key responsibilities :

  • Oversee and improve support for students with SEND
  • Manage and review EHCPs in line with statutory requirements
  • Support staff with training and inclusive teaching strategies
  • Monitor student progress and implement interventions
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Contribute to increasing student enrolment through strong SEND outcomes
