We’re working with a supportive and forward-thinking SEND secondary provision that is committed to helping young people thrive in an inclusive, specialist environment.

This role is ideal for a qualified or unqualified teacher with a passion for working with students who present with additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, and complex learning profiles. You’ll have the flexibility to deliver engaging, accessible lessons that meet students at their level – whether through subject-specific teaching or a more thematic, nurture-based curriculum.

🔹 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering secondary curriculum content adapted to meet SEND learners’ needs

• Working closely with support staff and therapists to ensure a joined-up approach

• Creating a classroom environment that encourages progress, curiosity, and emotional growth

• Supporting students who may have experienced trauma, disrupted education or social difficulties

• Contributing to wider school life, including reviews, EHCP input and family engagement

🔹 We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or significant experience as an unqualified teacher/instructor

• Strong behaviour management and the ability to build trust quickly

• Experience or understanding of working with students with SEND, SEMH, Autism, or similar needs

• Resilience, creativity and a solution-focused mindset
