DT Teacher – Wolverhampton

First For Education are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time interim role for one term, offering you the chance to inspire creativity and innovation in young learners.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

The Role:

• Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage problem-solving and practical skills.

• Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum.

• Create a safe and supportive workshop environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department and wider school community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching DT at secondary level (Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or similar).

• Strong subject knowledge and workshop safety awareness.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A passion for helping students achieve their potential.
