First For Education are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time interim role for one term, offering you the chance to inspire creativity and innovation in young learners.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.
Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage problem-solving and practical skills.
Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum.
Create a safe and supportive workshop environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department and wider school community.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching DT at secondary level (Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or similar).
Strong subject knowledge and workshop safety awareness.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for helping students achieve their potential.
