First for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Halesowen, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time teaching role in a well-regarded and welcoming school environment.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential)

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners

  • Support the department in raising achievement and improving outcomes

  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and a safe learning environment

  • Play a full part in school life, including attending meetings and contributing to progress tracking

 

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting

  • Can commit to 5 days per week from the agreed start date

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and subject knowledge

  • Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
