Geography Teacher 

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity? First for Education is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Dudley to appoint an enthusiastic educator who can inspire a love of Geography and help students understand the world around them.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Inspire curiosity about global issues, physical landscapes, and human geography

  • Support pupils of varying abilities, creating an inclusive learning environment

  • Contribute to departmental planning, marking, and assessments

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography

  • Effective classroom management and communication skills

  • A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
