First for Education are working with a supportive and diverse secondary school in Bordesley Green, seeking a dedicated Qualified Maths Teacher to join their team from November 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging and high-quality Maths teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 teaching for experienced candidates. Strong behaviour management and the ability to inspire confidence in learners is essential for this role.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4
Deliver curriculum content effectively in line with school standards
Differentiate lessons to meet mixed-ability and SEND needs
Manage classroom behaviour in a calm, consistent and confident manner
Track pupil progress and provide feedback to support attainment
Work collaboratively with the Maths department to raise achievement
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
Passion for inspiring students in Mathematics
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
