Make a Meaningful Impact as a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant in Bournville

First for Education are seeking an experienced and confident Level 3 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students in a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bournville, starting November 2025.

This role is ideal for a skilled LSA with experience providing 1:1 support, small group interventions, and classroom assistance, particularly for pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs.

The Role

As a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEND or learning barriers

• Assist in planning and delivering targeted interventions

• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

• Promote independent learning and positive engagement

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

• Contribute to EHCP monitoring and progress tracking where required

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant qualification – essential

• Previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a school setting

• Strong communication, patience and behaviour management skills

• A proactive, empathetic and supportive approach

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
