Early Career Teacher (ECT) Jobs

The two years of the ECT programme consist of; 

  • Year 1 with a 10% reduction in timetable¬†
  • Year 2 with a 5% reduction in timetable¬†
  • Schools will deliver an induction period that is underpinned by ECF
  • A ECT mentor that has a key role in supporting the ECT during the induction process and is sperate to the role of the ECT tutor¬†
  • The option to complete the ECT programme on a part time basis where evidence can be benchmarked and demonstrated against Teachers standards
