Art and Design Teacher – Sedgley

First for Education is proud to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in the Sedgley area, and we are currently seeking a passionate and creative Art and Design Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students and foster creativity within a supportive and welcoming environment.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage creative expression and build students’ confidence in their artistic abilities

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students of all abilities

  • Participate in department planning, assessment, and extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS)

  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for creativity and developing young artists
