Cover Supervisor

First for Education are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to join a supportive school in Worcester. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant school environment, covering lessons across a range of subjects and supporting the delivery of quality education. If you’re enthusiastic, adaptable, and have a passion for working with young people, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students during pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment

• Ensure students are on task and following the lesson plan

• Support students with their learning and personal development

• Monitor student behaviour and provide assistance as needed

• Report back on any issues or concerns regarding student progress or classroom management

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

• Confidence to manage classroom situations

• Strong communication and organisation skills

• A flexible and proactive approach

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
