Flexible Cover Supervisor Opportunities in Sutton Coldfield

First for Education are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join a number of secondary schools across Sutton Coldfield. We have immediate starts available for individuals who can step into the classroom and support learning in the absence of the class teacher.

This role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants ready to progress, graduates considering teacher training, or anyone with strong communication skills and experience working with young people.

The Role

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects

• Delivering pre-set work provided by the class teacher

• Managing behaviour positively and professionally

• Supporting pupils to stay engaged and on task

• Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies

• Providing flexible cover across departments where required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with secondary-aged students (school or youth setting)

• Confident behaviour management

• Strong communication and adaptability

• A professional and reliable approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
