Cover Supervisor – Bromsgrove

First For Education are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for individuals who are considering a career in teaching, recent graduates, or those with experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will ensure students remain engaged with the work set and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Supporting students to stay on task with their learning

• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have strong communication and classroom management skills

• Are confident working with secondary school students

• Are organised, reliable, and adaptable

• Have experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

• Are considering a career in education or teaching (desirable but not essential)
