Cover Supervisor

First For Education is seeking confident, reliable, and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work with secondary schools across Worcester.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of learning in the absence of the teacher. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver set lessons to classes across a range of subjects

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Follow school policies and procedures

• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons

• Build positive relationships with students and staff

Requirements

• Experience working with young people (school-based or similar)

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Confidence in leading a class

• A positive, reliable, and adaptable attitude

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
