Cover Supervisor

First For Education is seeking a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to work within a welcoming secondary school in the Bridgnorth area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain experience within education.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support students with their learning where required

• Contribute to a positive and productive learning environment

  This role is ideal for:

  • Graduates considering a career in teaching

  • Individuals with youth work or coaching experience

  • Teaching Assistants looking to progress

  • Anyone confident, organised, and passionate about working with young people

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Confidence delivering instructions to groups of students

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A reliable, adaptable, and professional attitude

• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential
