Are you a passionate Drama Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of performers, creators and confident communicators? First for Education is seeking a dedicated Drama specialist to join one of our welcoming secondary partner schools in the Wolverhampton area.
We are looking for a skilled Drama Teacher who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across KS3–KS4. You will bring energy, creativity and a love of the performing arts, using drama to build students’ confidence, teamwork and expressive skills.
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their careers with strong support.
You must hold a QTS to be considered for this position.
Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
Inspire students through practical work, performance projects and creative activities
Assess, track and report on student progress
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as drama clubs or school productions
Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow the school’s policies and ethos
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts
A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable teaching style
Good classroom management and communication skills
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
