Early Years Afterschool Club Leader – Solihull

Inspiring young minds and supporting early learning – become a Early Years club lead in Birmingham!

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established afterschool club based at a primary school in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to support children’s development in a relaxed, play-based environment outside of standard classroom hours. It will also open potential doors for the candidate to work further with the school.

What we’re after :

  • Excellent planning & communication
  • Relevant early years qualification (minimum of level 2) 
  • Passion for education
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • References to cover the last 2 years (minimum of 2)

The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

Key responsibilities :

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Liaising with parents and carers
  • Mentoring and assessing the children’s progress
