Early Years Teaching Assistant – Kidderminster

First For Education are currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Kidderminster. This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children at the very start of their educational journey.

The Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS Framework

  • Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and social development activities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

  • Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

  • Observe and contribute to pupil progress and development records

  • Support with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

  • Has experience working within Early Years or a primary school setting

  • Demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills

  • Is flexible, proactive, and able to use their initiative

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
