English Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher looking for a flexible, part-time role in Wolverhampton? First for Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school to recruit a committed English specialist to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a consistent 3-day working week – Monday to Wednesday.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support students in achieving their academic potential

 

Requirements:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Has recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level

  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management

  • Is committed to raising standards and inspiring young learners

  • Can quickly build rapport with students and staff
