English Teacher

First For Education are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about literature, language, and helping young people develop strong communication skills.

You must hold a QTS to be considered for this position.

About the Role

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing

• Support pupils’ progress through effective marking, assessment, and feedback

• Contribute to the wider work of a supportive and collaborative English department

• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in English

• A passion for supporting students of all abilities

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
