We are seeking a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join a supportive team within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Telford. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require a more tailored and supportive educational environment.
Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Support students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Work collaboratively with support staff and external agencies
Track and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEN, or within a PRU/alternative provision
Strong classroom management skills and emotional resilience
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their potential
