English Teacher

First for Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join one of our excellent partner secondary schools in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. This is for an interim cover.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

The Role:

• Full-time English teaching role, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Planning, marking and assessing in line with national curriculum standards

• Fostering a love for literature, language and creative expression

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Working closely with department staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
