First for Education is currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver thought-provoking lessons that help pupils understand the events that have shaped our world. This is for an interim position.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Inspire students to think critically about historical events, people and periods
Promote debate, discussion and a love of learning
Mark and assess in line with school policies and national curriculum standards
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning
Excellent classroom management skills
A passion for making History relevant and engaging for all learners
