Humanities Teacher – Kidderminster

First For Education are currently recruiting a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to work in a supportive secondary school in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, or Religious Studies, who is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.

The Role

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (subject specialism dependent on school needs)

  • Inspire pupils to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world

  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level

  • Has strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and/or RE

  • Demonstrates effective behaviour management and strong classroom presence

  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to raising attainment
