Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Weβre looking for compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join specialist schools and provisions in the Solihull area.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience in SEND or someone with the empathy, resilience and adaptability to step into a meaningful and rewarding role.
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND
Work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupil progress
Help children build confidence, communication and independence
Support with emotional regulation and behaviour management
Assist with personal care or mobility where needed (full support and training provided)
Experience working with children or young people (in schools or alternative settings)
A calm, caring and confident approach
Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH or complex needs is highly valued
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A valid enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
