Level 3 Teaching Assistant

First For Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Bromsgrove. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who is passionate about helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

You must hold a level 3 teaching assistant qualification to be considered for this role.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to teachers and pupils, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You may work with small groups, deliver interventions, or support individual pupils with additional needs.

This role is perfect for someone who is committed, nurturing, and confident in adapting support to meet the needs of different learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Work with individuals and small groups to support learning

  • Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and targeted interventions

  • Manage behaviour positively and consistently

  • Contribute to planning, assessment and observation

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative

  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
