Location: Sandwell (various school sites)
Salary: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Part-time / Ongoing

Support Local Schools Across Sandwell During Lunchtimes

First for Education are recruiting reliable, friendly and proactive Lunchtime Supervisors to support a range of primary and secondary schools across the Sandwell area from January 2026.

This is a part-time role, ideal for candidates who enjoy working with children and can help maintain a safe, positive and structured environment during the school lunch period.

Multiple schools and shifts are available depending on your availability.

The Role

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors

• Supporting positive behaviour and ensuring school rules are followed

• Assisting with transitions to and from the dining hall

• Encouraging safe play and resolving minor issues calmly

• Supporting pupils with their wellbeing and social interaction

• Reporting concerns or incidents to relevant school staff

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A caring, patient and professional approach

• Ability to manage pupil behaviour positively and consistently

• Reliability and punctuality

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay for a new one
