Mathematics Teacher 

First For Education is excited to partner with a fantastic secondary school in Dudley to recruit a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is eager to inspire and challenge students to achieve their best.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for their GCSEs and nurturing their problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality and engaging Mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.

• Plan and execute a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners

• Use creative teaching methods and digital resources to make lessons interactive and exciting.

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset in students.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.

• Participate in the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and school events.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.

• A genuine passion for teaching Mathematics and inspiring students to develop a love for the subject.

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated to fostering student success both inside and outside of the classroom.

• Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred, but not essential (NQTs are welcome to apply).
