First For Education is excited to partner with a fantastic secondary school in Dudley to recruit a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is eager to inspire and challenge students to achieve their best.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for their GCSEs and nurturing their problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a QTS/QTLS or PGCE.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality and engaging Mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.
Plan and execute a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
Use creative teaching methods and digital resources to make lessons interactive and exciting.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset in students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
Participate in the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
A genuine passion for teaching Mathematics and inspiring students to develop a love for the subject.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated to fostering student success both inside and outside of the classroom.
Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred, but not essential (NQTs are welcome to apply).
