First For Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Oldbury. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and ambitious Maths department.

This role is for 5 days a week starting Easter to cover a maternity leave.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop your career, we would love to hear from you.

You must hold a QTS status to be considered for this position

The Role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum

• Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities

• Monitor and track student progress

• Contribute to departmental planning and school development

• Uphold strong behaviour management in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Specialism in Mathematics

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for raising attainment

• Excellent classroom management skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
