Maths Teacher – Secondary

First for Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Kingswinford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to make a real difference in students’ mathematical development. This is an interim position for 1 term.

About the role:

You’ll be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum. The school has a strong support network and a forward-thinking leadership team who value innovation in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons

• Track and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed

• Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular activities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes achievement

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a PGCE, QTS or QTLS (with relevant Maths specialism)

• Have recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level (desirable)

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
