We are working closely with a dedicated specialist provision that supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. They are seeking a passionate and adaptable Maths Teacher to join their team and deliver meaningful learning to pupils who benefit from a more personalised approach to education.
About the role:
- Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons across KS3 and/or KS4
- Plan and adapt resources to meet a wide range of abilities and EHCP outcomes
- Use a trauma-informed and pupil-centred approach to support behaviour and emotional regulation
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create a nurturing, consistent learning environment
About you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Maths is essential; experience in SEND settings is highly desirable
- Calm, creative and confident in adapting teaching to support a wide variety of needs
- A genuine passion for inclusion and supporting young people who may not thrive in mainstream education
