Are you passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives? Our specialist provision in the West Midlands is looking for a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join the team. As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ wellbeing, attendance, and engagement in learning.

As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will:

• Provide day-to-day pastoral care and emotional support to students.
• Act as a point of contact between home and school.
• Develop strategies to improve attendance, behaviour, and self-esteem.
• Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals.

The role of Pastoral Support Worker requires a high level of empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will monitor pupils’ emotional needs, deliver targeted interventions, and ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported throughout the school day.

Experience in a similar Pastoral Support Worker position or in youth work, counselling, or behaviour support is highly desirable. However, what matters most is your dedication, reliability, and genuine passion for helping children thrive.
