First for Education are seeking a motivated and energetic PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Bridgnorth area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons, promote an active lifestyle, and engage students across a wide range of sports.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical education, confident teaching across Key Stages, and committed to helping students develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
You must hold a QTS to be considered for this position.
Deliver engaging and well-structured PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare and assess student progress in line with school policies
Lead a range of indoor and outdoor sports
Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes
Support school events, fixtures, and extracurricular activities
Maintain excellent behaviour management within lessons and on the sports field
Contribute positively to the department and wider school community
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 PE
Confident leading a variety of sports and activities
Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
A proactive, enthusiastic attitude
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
